I didn't create The Way Home because I had all the answers.
I created it because I've lived the questions.
For years, I found myself repeating painful patterns in relationships.
I over gave.
I ignored red flags.
I abandoned my own needs.
I confused love with sacrifice and believed that if I could just be enough, do enough, or love hard enough, things would finally feel safe.
Many of those patterns didn't begin in adulthood.
They began much earlier.
The relationships I found myself in were often reflections of wounds I didn't yet understand.
Including an abusive marriage that forced me to take a hard look at the beliefs I carried about love, worthiness, and what I thought I needed to do in order to be chosen.
My healing journey led me through trauma recovery, nervous system healing, self-trust, spiritual growth, and the difficult process of learning how to stop abandoning myself.
I still believe healing is a lifelong journey.
But today, I know something I didn't know then:
The woman I was searching for wasn't outside of me.
She was already within me.
That's why I created The Way Home.
Not because I'm above you.
Not because I've healed everything.
But because I've walked this road and I want to hold a lantern for the women who are still finding their way.
🌙 I got you.

The Way Home wasn't built because I wanted to start a business.
It was built because I remember what it felt like to lose myself.
For years, I searched for answers.
I wanted to understand why I kept ending up in unhealthy relationships.
Why I abandoned my own needs so easily.
Why trusting myself felt harder than trusting everyone else.
The more I learned about childhood wounds, trauma, attachment, and the nervous system, the more something unexpected happened.
I stopped asking,
"What's wrong with me?"
and started asking,
"What happened to me?"
That one question changed everything.
I realized I wasn't broken.
I had simply become incredibly good at surviving.

Healing isn't about becoming someone new.
It's about remembering the person who was there before fear, survival, and self-doubt convinced you that you had to earn love by abandoning yourself.
That's why this place is called The Way Home.
Because I don't believe you're searching for a new version of yourself.
I believe you're finding your way back to the woman who's been there all along.
Every article in The Fireside...
Every page in the Healing Library...
Every journal...
Every conversation...
...exists for one reason.
To help you come home to yourself.

This website will continue to grow.
New rooms will open.
New conversations will begin.
New resources will find their place on the shelves.
But one thing will never change.
The heart behind it.
If you've found yourself here today...
Whether you're just beginning your healing journey or you've been walking it for years...
I'm genuinely glad you're here.
I hope every visit leaves you feeling a little lighter, a little more understood, and a little more hopeful than when you arrived.
Because that's what this place was always meant to be.
A place where you remember...
It's been in you all along.
❤️
If sharing my story helps another woman find her way home before she reaches the place I once did, then every step of my own journey has been worth it.
Made with compassion. One gentle step at a time.
It's been in you all along.
Helping women reconnect with themselves through compassionate healing, guided journals, and gentle resources.
